The Catholic Diocese of Fort Portal joyfully celebrated the Sacred Ordination of six priests and four deacons in a solemn Eucharistic celebration marked by prayer, thanksgiving, and great rejoicing. This significant occasion was a testament to God’s continued call to serve His people through the ministry of the Church.

Surrounded by the faithful, clergy, religious, family members, and friends, the ordinands committed themselves to lives of faithful service, proclaiming the Gospel, celebrating the sacraments, and shepherding God’s people with dedication and love.

We thank God for the gift of these new priests and deacons and congratulate them on this important milestone in their vocation. May the Lord strengthen them with His grace as they begin their ministry, and may they remain faithful witnesses of Christ throughout their lives.
