About 242 Christians received the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Charles Lwanga Town Parish in Fort Portal Catholic diocese. Among them 62nwere Confirmed from Katojo Government Prison and about 180 were cofirmed at St. Charles Lwanga Town Parish. In his homily the main celebrant Rt. Rev. Robert K. Muhiirwa Akiiki stressed the important of praying for vocations and arriving early for Mass that is to come minutes back before Mass starts. He again warned them against bad peer groups that may negatively influence their lives negatively and encouraged them to engage much in church movements. The Bishop also made Nyabukara Church Center a EUCHARISTIC CENTER which started with a rite of blessing the entire Church. The Bishop also blessed the priests' house which is still under construction. He planted a memorial tree in the of the Church to mark all these activities.
