MEPA is an association that brings together the five dioceses of Mbarara, Kabaale, Hoima, Fort Portal and Kasese that make up Mbarara Eccelesiastical Province. Every in November they make a pilgrimage to Namugongo Martyrs shrine in honor of our Martyrs. This year the Mass was animated bt Kasese diocese. In attandance were all the five bishops of the province, the clergy, religious men and women and the laity. During the event, Dr. Patrick Birungi the Current chairperson of MEPA officially announced Hoima diocese to lead the celebrations of next year. He even encouraged Christians to participate actively in our pilgrimage every year.
